Talk in Articles. The Rock Island Armory (RIA) and custom gunsmith Fred Craig produced the.22 TCM or 22TCM (.22 Tuason Craig Micromagnum), a proprietary bottle-necked cartridge for semi-automatic pistols and the Rock Island M22 TCM bolt-action rifle.
The 22 TCM is 1.275 inches, which is the same as the.45 ACP. A 40-grain jacketed hollowpoint bullet loaded with a Small Pistol primer travels at 1,875 fps out of a five-inch barrel. That’s hardly a boast, though, as some rounds have a velocity of more than 1,900 fps.
