EAA Witness 2311
The Witness series of 1911s and CZ75 copies, produced by Tanfoglio in Italy and sold by EAA, a Florida-based company that imports a lot of firearms, helped the company establish its reputation.
Where their promised new EAA Witness 2311 line, known as the Witness 2311, originates from is a bit unclear. The firm had 2311s on exhibit with frames from Cosaint Arms in North Carolina late last year at the NASGW convention.
These weapons were essentially the same commander-length format as that manufacturer’s COS21 series, but were half the price.
The new Witness 2311s, on the other hand, are manufactured by Girsan utilizing the Turkish 1911s in 9mm, 45ACP, and 10mm along with typical polymer grips, receivers, and top ends, as well as regular double stack 1911 magazines.
So, the top may be Turkish but the frame could be American.
You’re in luck if you’re looking to buy a new 1911 platform pistol but want a larger magazine.
The EAA Witness 2311 by Girsan, which features a double-stack capacity and a range of chamberings, has just been released. The Witness 2311 is designed to be used for a variety of purposes, including carry and home defense.
This pistol is more reasonably priced than the majority of double-stack 1911s now on the market, and it is built to give good performance down range.
