Hodgdon Pyrodex P Black Powder Substitute 1 lb Description

It is supposed to serve as a direct alternative for FFFg Black powder when measured voluminously using a black powder measure. Muzzleloading pistols, cap and ball revolvers, and small bore muzzleloading rifles are the main applications for Pyrodex P. As with other grades of Pyrodex, it burns more thoroughly and produces less fouling than blackpowder.

All calibers of percussion muzzleloading rifles and shotguns can employ Hodgdon Pyrodex RS. It is the Pyrodex line’s most adaptable powder and has a wide range of applications. It burns more cleanly and generates less fouling than blackpowder, like all grades of Pyrodex. On the basis of particle size, RS is comparable to 2F blackpowder.

• Never combine any two powders, regardless of their sort, brand, or source.
• Never use a smokeless powder in place of black powder or a replacement for black powder.
